Not disbanded,just dysfunctional!

I recently rejoined The Witley club after a lasp of 25 yearsfor various resons, kids mainly !! Anyway i am a member of another bike club - Halrey's (7 years) and the same has happend on their forum , its just all been said before . But they now have a Face book site and for some reason its more popular, I noticed Witley doesnt have a Facebook site and this may just help to re boost things. Just a thought..

It has crossed my mind to have a Facebook page but then who is going to manage it? At the moment I finding it a struggle to keep up with all my internet commitments, doing a half job on another commitment is not the way I like to roll ..so it wont be me!! Michelle??

Well dont be down hearted as the club is more famous for the brilliant motor cycle events not its chat rooms . So as i mentioned its been yonks away for me but my first event i have entered is the Enduro on Saturday 21st Aug. My last Trial i think was the Charlie Wake about 1991 when trials were on the road and about 50 miles long , plus a pub stop on route normaly for me as well. So if anyone has any tips fora first timer im all ears.. Plus if you see a knackered old fart in a heap please pick me up , Thank you

Can anyone advise if the Riders numbers are issued at time of signing on , or do i have to get them myself prior to scrutineering. I know yellow background is for Clubman and Black numbers its just i dont know where i get them ,, any help please

No you will have to buy your own, don't know what area you live but Elderfields, Jamsport, Motoward, Motorite will stock them...failing that it's good ol' electrical tape and a pair of scissors

Thank you , I got a Txt from Paul Heam saying I can buy from him on the day , what happend to the day when i rode trials at a cost of £2.50 and Cath made Bacon Rolls and numbers were free, £38.00 quid to sign on now and get your own numbers , i called Locktons re insurance as i have family responsibilties now and they want more than what i paid for the bike to cover a old fart in case i cant work for 6 weeks. Happy days ..
